You are invited to attend our 3rd Annual Simply Gorgeous Girls Grand National Pageant! SGG is open to all contestants, you do not have to attend a prelim or state pageant to compete. We are not glitz and not totally natural, we’re back to the basics of pageantry. Our judges will be looking for a simply gorgeous face, great personality and a neat, flattering overall appearance. Our guidelines are listed below. This is a great National for beginners as no experience is needed. All our awards are guaranteed and awarded the day of the pageant regardless of the number of entries, no waiting. Please read over the paperwork as we have made some changes this year. We have added boy divisions, a 20 & up Ms./Mrs. Division and we do offer sibling/family discounts. We have an exciting weekend planned for you! Tickets Ask family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you by purchasing a Good Luck Wish for $10 each. Each ticket sold will go in a drawing for $200 bond. Drawing will be held during the crowning ceremony at Nationals for the winning ticket. The winner does not have to be present to win. Each ticket sold should have the buyers name and phone number on it. They will be contacted and receive their bond in the mail. For every $10 Good Luck Wish you sell, your name will go in the drawing for a adorable registered puppy or $300 cash, your choice. All tickets must by turned in by April 1, 2010. She will receive a $4,000 Bond (guaranteed), Custom SGG National Crown, Monogrammed Sash, Robe, Gift and her photo on our 2011 promotional literature and ads. 4 Majestic Supremes - $2,000 One winner from each Supreme Division, 0-3, 4-7, 8-12 & 13-up will receive a $2,000 Bond, Custom SGG National Crown, Monogrammed Sash, Robe, Gift and their photo on our 2011 promotional literature and ads. Highest combined score of Beauty and your 1 highest scoring event. 4 Face Supremes - $1,000 One winner from each Supreme Division, 0-3, 4-7, 8-12 & 13-up will receive a $1,000 Bond, Custom SGG National Crown, Monogrammed Sash, Gift and their photo on our 2011 promotional literature and ads. Judges choice based on Facial Beauty Only. 4 Mini Supremes - $800 One winner from each Supreme Division, 0-3, 4-7 8-12 & 13-up will receive a $800 Bond, Custom SGG National Crown, Monogrammed Sash, Gift and their photo on our 2011 promotional literature and ads. Combined score of Beauty and your 1 highest scoring event. Division Beauty Queens/Kings - $400 One winner from each age division based on their Beauty Score only will receive a $400 Bond, Custom SGG National Crown, Monogrammed Sash, Gift and their photo on our 2011 promotional literature and ads. There will be 4 alternates per age division that will receive a beautiful National award and gift. All contestants will receive a beautiful National award and gift. No one will leave empty handed. (1 1/2 minute time limit) Side Awards We will award 4 side awards in each age division. Best Smile, Prettiest Eyes, Most adorable (Personality) and Sweetest Face. Winners will receive a National Award. Natural Photogenic Please submit your photo(s) at registration. Photos may be any size up to 8 1/2 x11 and can be black/white or color. Photos can be headshots or full body. Little to no make-up and only retouches to remove stray hairs etc. No cosmetic retouching. Photos should look age appropriate. One photo included, extra photos may be entered for an additional fee of $20 each. Snap Shot Photogenic This is a category where you can take your own photos. Please submit your photo(s) at registration. Photos should be 4x6 size only, can be black/white or color. Photos can be headshots, 3/4 or full body. Just remember that we are looking for Natural Photos. You are allowed to enter 2 photos. More than 2 photos may be entered for an additional fee of $20 for a set of 2. Print Model Please submit your photo(s) at registration. Photos can be black/white or color, 3/4 or full body, this photo can come right out of your portfolio. One photo included, extra photos may be entered for an additional fee of $20 each. Interview Interview will be a close-up appraisal. Attire will be white shorts, tennis skirt, capris or slacks and our SGG T-shirt. One parent/chaperone must accompany the contestants up to 3 yrs., no chaperone for the 4-up. Age divisions will go in front of the judges as a group of 4, no questions or answers will be judged. The judges will be friendly and chat with the contestants. Guidelines for hair and make-up for Beauty also apply for Interview. No decorating of T-shirt. Swimwear The Swimsuit competition is judged on 1-25 Facial Beauty, 1-15 Personality and 1-10 Overall Appearance. Swimwear can be off the rack or custom made. Limited stones, sequins and glitter are acceptable. Your choice of one or two piece but must be in good taste. Please select a style that is most flattering to your body type, no string bikinis are allowed. No pro-am, cover-ups or props allowed. (1 1/2 minute time limit) Casual Wear The Casual Wear competition is judged on 1-25 Facial Beauty, 1-15 Personality and 1-10 Overall Appearance. Outfits can be off the rack or custom made but no rhinestones or glitz. No pro-am, no removing of attire or props allowed. (1 1/2 minute time limit) Referrals We do offer a referral program. If interested, please call or email for more information New This Year. Boys Divisions 0-2 yrs., 3-5 yrs. & 6 yrs.-up We will award a $600 Bond to 1 boy supreme. With 10 or more entered, the amount will increase to a $1,000 Bond. The boy contestants will compete equally with the girl contestants for all titles entered. General Information 1. No video cameras or cameras allowed in the ballroom. These services will be provided. 2. Score sheets will be handed out at the end of crowning, judges will be available for any questions and you may view the master score sheet. 3. Name of contestants entered or numbers in each age division and place in line-up will not be given out. Please do not call and ask. Place in line-up will be determined by the date you enter and we do not complete the line-ups until the week of the pageant. You can make a request and we will try to honor it if possible. 4. Compete your age as of the day of the pageant or you may move up with the exception of the 20 & up division. You must be 20 years old or married to compete in this division. A copy of contestants Birth Certificate required at registration. We do not double crown. 5. Any display of bad sportsmanship from a contestant or their guest or improper conduct towards the pageant staff and hotel staff at any time will result in disqualification with no refund and you will not be allowed to compete again. 6. All photos must be turned in during Registration on Friday night. 7. Door Admission is $30 for everyone except contestant. Children 4 and under are free. Door Badges are required to be worn in order to enter and exit the ballroom. No one will be allowed to enter the ballroom with out your badge. 8. We do accept PayPal - gorgeousgirls@embarqmail.com, Visa and MC accepted through PayPal. Add a 4% handling fee or it will be subtracted from the amount that you send. No PayPal payments will be accepted after April 14th, 2010. No exceptions! 9. We do offer a sibling discount. The first child pays full price for the Supreme Package and the second child receives the Supreme Package 1/2 price. All optional events are regular price. 10. There will be group line-up for each event. You will be entering on the judge’s left and exiting on the right. You must be ready at the scheduled times, we will not wait. Each event will be timed and the MC will “Thank You” when your time is up. The time limit is mandatory and you will need to exit the stage when indicated by the MC. There will be a dressing room provided. 11. Our optional Door Events to be offered, Price/Awards will be listed on our website on or before April 12th. 12. All bonds will be paid in cash equivalent the day of crowning only with your child’s SS# provided and parent or guardian signature. No cash will be paid out without this information, you will receive a form to fill out and mail in to receive your award money. No exceptions will be made! Line-up Line-up in each age group is determined by the date your entry and deposit is received. First in, last out or your choice. We honor requests on a first come, first serve basis. Your entry form and deposit is required for you to be put in line-up. Deposits received without the entry form will not be placed in line-up until the entry form is received.
